Irene Guilford is the author of Waiting for Stalin to Die, The Embrace, and the editor of Alistair MacLeod: Essays on His Works. Her work has appeared in journals such as Quarry, Grain and Lituanas, anthologies such as Without a Guide and Kitchen Talk, and been translated into Lithuanian. She has been shortlisted for the CBC Literary Competition, the Event Creative Nonfiction Contest and the Writers’ Union Postcard Story Competition. She lives in Toronto.
