Diane Ackerman

Poet, essayist, and naturalist Diane Ackerman is the author of many highly acclaimed works of non-fiction, including A Natural History of the Senses and A Natural History of Love, and poetry volumes including Jaguar of Sweet Laughter: New and Selected Poems. She presented The Zookeeper’s Wife, a true story about the keepers of the Warsaw Zoo who, when Germany invaded Poland in WWII, saved hundreds of people from Nazi hands.
