Emma Dibdin grew up in Oxford, and now lives in New York. She is a writer and journalist whose work has appeared in Esquire, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Total Film. Her first novel, Room By The Lake, was published by Head of Zeus in August.
Becky Masterman, who was an acquisitions editor for a press specializing in medical textbooks for forensic examiners and law enforcement, received her M.A. in creative writing from Florida Atlantic University. Her debut thriller, Rage Against the Dying, was a finalist for the Edgar Award for Best First Novel, the CWA Gold Dagger Award for Best Crime Novel of 2013, and the ITV Thriller Award, as well as the Macavity, Barry, and Anthony awards. Becky lives in Tucson, Arizona, with her husband.
Andrew Pyper is the author of eight novels, including The Only Child and The Demonologist, which won the International Thriller Writers award for Best Hardcover Novel and was selected for the Globe and Mail’s Best 100 Books of 2013 and Amazon’s 20 Best Books of 2013. Among his previous books, Lost Girls won the Arthur Ellis Award and was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, and The Killing Circle was a New York Times Best Crime Novel of the Year. Three of Pyper’s novels, including The Demonologist and The Damned, are in active development for feature film. He lives in Toronto.
Ania Szado is the bestselling author of Studio Saint-Ex – a novel about fashion and The Little Prince in 1940s NYC – and Beginning of Was, which was regionally shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. Ania was named one of CBC Books’ “Ten Canadian Women Writers You Need to Read” (2014). Her short fiction has been anthologized, most recently in Polish(ed): Poland Rooted in Canadian Fiction.
