CWS 2018 presents Virginia Pésémapéo Bordeleau

Saturday, June 16, 2018 - 8:00 PM
Fleck Dance Theatre
Keynote: Canadian Writers' Summit

L’arrivée récente de plusieurs auteur.e.s autochtones francophones au Québec: leur littérature/ la réception des lecteur.e.s / la critique/ la diffusion. Mon oeuvre personnelle: romans et poésie.

Virginia Pésémapéo Bordeleau will discuss the recent surge of francophone Indigenous writers in Québec; she’ll explore their writing, and the critical responses to it. She’ll also share with us her own work in the form of literary fiction and poetry.

This event is part of the Canadian Writers’ Summit (#CWS2018), a super-conference jointly hosted by a cohort of Canadian writer organizations. Members of all of these organizations are especially encouraged to attend, but #CWS2018 welcomes everyone and anyone interested in writing and publishing in Canada.

#CWS2018 takes place June 14–17, 2018, at Harbourfront Centre.
