The IFOA joins its Etobicoke partners to bring Sylvain Prudhomme, one of the most exciting contemporary novelists in France, to the By the Lake Book Club! In language that is strong, poetic, and understated, Prudhomme tells the story of a population who knew hope and independence but now live under the oppressive rule of an army dictatorship. The Greats is a novel and of mourning, love, and thirst for justice.
