The Koffler Centre of the Arts is proud to announce a significant literary award in Canada – the Vine Awards for Canadian Jewish Literature. This year’s awards presented prizes of $10,000 for the best writing in the categories of Fiction, Non-Fiction, Children’s/Young Adult, and History. This year’s shortlist included 13 titles and our jury included nationally acclaimed writers Bob Bossin, Ami Sands Brodoff, and Cary Fagan. In this roundtable, join Nick Hutcheson in conversation with Eric Beck Rubin and Danila Botha, about their shortlisted books, School of Velocity and For All the Men (And Some of the Women) I’ve Known. Hosted by Koffler’s Mary Anderson, Producer, Public Programs and Literary Events.

The Lillian and Norman Glowinsky Family Foundation continues to support the Vine Awards for Canadian Jewish literature. These awards, originally called the Canadian Jewish Book Awards, were founded in 1988 by Adam Fuerstenberg, whose ambition was to celebrate excellence in Canadian Jewish writing.
